Methodology

The section explains where topics come from and how conclusions are checked. It also says when a text alone is not enough.

How a topic comes up

A topic starts with a concrete question that has no short answer. Every conclusion rests on a figure that can be checked independently.

When a specialist is needed

The material is for reference and does not replace professional advice. A decision with consequences needs a consultation with a qualified specialist.

When we return to a text

A published piece is revisited when the data it rests on changes. Cosmetic edits do not count as an update.
